Biography

1998, the year that Ronan Keating & Louis Walsh decided to manage a new boyband called:
Westlife
The group was formed with 5 Irish lads:
Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan & Bryan Mcfadden.

Their first single "Swear it again" was a huge success and made it straight to nr.1 at the charts,
just like their second and third hits "If I let you go" & "Flying without wings".
Till now they have 14 number 1 hits on their name.

In 2004 Bryan decided to leave the band, luckily for the fans, the other 4 kept on going.
After Brian's leave they released 3 albums with success, proving they are stronger than ever.
They have now signed for 5 more albums and are not about to stop soon.
